Hello, everyone!

There are so many little things to love about fall: the crisp, cool air, the leaves changing colors, pumpkin spice- flavored everything, cozy sweaters, the list goes on. One of my favorite little pleasures of the season is finally being able to bust out all my favorite boots that have been in hiding all summer. My mom and I love boots so much, we actually don’t even call this time of year “Fall”, we jokingly call it “Boot Season.” To celebrate Boot Season being in full swing, we have complied a list of boots to help you navigate through all the boot trends you need to know.

1) The Golden Heel:

This might be a short ankle bootie, but it’s heel is still sky high! The gold heel on this gx by Gwen Stefani ‘Cool’ Open Toe Bootie makes this stiletto silhouette extra special. ($119.95 on Nordstrom.com)

2) The Barely There Bootie:

This peep-toe and opened front bootie is perfect for this transitional part of the season. Even on the warmer days of fall, these Klub Nico Aria Heels have a very cool style. ($168 on Softsurroundings.com)

3) The Chelsea:

According to www.whowhatwear.com, there was an over 3,000-person wait list for these Everlane Chelsea Boots. Why all the fuss? They’re comfortable and easy to slip on, casual while still looking polished, and come in several great fall shades. We love this rich mahogany color! ($235 on Everlane.com)

4) The Haute Heel:

Designers have been doing a lot of interesting things with heel designs lately, such as embellishment or asymmetric-shaped heels. Try stepping up your heel game with the Jeffrey Campbell Jensen Cage Heel Bootie. ($219.95 on Nordstrom.com)

5) The Tilt Heel:

Another recurring trend with heel construction is this ’tilted’ design. These Alexander Wang Gabi Suede Tilt-Heel Booties are a very wearable and versatile version of this trend. ($695 on Niemanmarcus.com)

6) The Slouch:

“Slouchy” has never looked more elegant than with the Manolo Blahnik Artemis Slouchy Tall Boot! The relaxed look of the soft suede gives these boots an effortlessly cool look. ($1,495 on Bergdorfgoodman.com)

9) The Wild, Wild West:

The beautiful detail on these ankle boots make them perfect for any cowgirl in the city. This Donald J Pliner Olivia Western Boot is most defiantly made for walkin’. ($398 on Nordstrom.com)

10) The Smooth Rider:

Riding boots are a fall essential for nearly all women during the fall. Any boot that’s going to have a lot a miles put on it should be a quality boot, and Frye makes boots that last. My favorite part about this Frye Melissa Tab Knee High Boot (and Frye boots in general) is that even when they’re brand new, the leather has a slightly worn or distressed look and texture. That makes them forgiving with any real wear and tear you put on them. ($428 on Thefryecompany.com)

11) The Touch of Fringe:

In case you haven’t noticed it yet, fringe is in! We’ve been seeing the fringe trend everywhere: jackets, vests, purses, pants, and of course, boots. If you just want to add a touch of this fringe flair to your wardrobe, try these Vince Camuto Harlin Fringe Booties.($158.95 on Nordstrom.com)

12) The Lace Up:

Another big tend in the boot world this season is laces. The peep-toe and leather cord laces on the Stuart Weitzman Bound Lace-Up Suede Ankle Boot are fashion forward details, while the soft suede and flattering heel make them very versatile and easy to style. This rich merlot shade is also right on trend this fall. 13) The Winter Warrior:

When the elements demand for a little tougher footwear, these Sorel Tofino Cate Boots do not disappoint. They’re waterproof with a faux fur lining, to keep you warm and dry, and quilted waxed canvas adds classic style. These boots are also very lightweight compared to many all-weather and snow boots on the market. ($160 on Sorel.com)

14) The Bootie Queen:

The Jeffrey Campbell Orwell Bootie is an Annie Heyward favorite! Here’s why we love them: 1) They have a modified pointy-toe box which is super elongating. 2) They are open in a split deep “V” on each side, which is a cool design feature, but also utilitarian (easy to tuck in your skinny jeans). 3) Modern take on this season’s bootie. ($180 on Urbanoutfitters.com)

15) The Purfect Print:

As Jenna Lyons once said, “As far as I’m concerned, leopard is a neutral”. These Saint Laurent Babies Booties are the perfect pop of print for any lucky fall wardrobe. ($1,395 on Nordstrom.com)

16) The Ultimate Over-The-Knee:

The Stuart Weitzman ‘The All Legs’ Boot will keep you looking hot even when the temperatures drop! These sizzling show-stoppers would be the perfect compliment to dark wash skinny jeans, or with opaque tights and a relaxed, short dress. ($798 on Stuartweitzman.com)

I hope this boot binge helps you sift through the trends and find your perfect pair!
