Spring Into Summer: OOTD

Summer is almost here, so it’s time to break out those hats and bare those shoulders! I’ve said before, I love off-the-shoulder tops and dresses because they show a little skin without being revealing.

Panama hats are basically the “big brother” of fedoras. They are wider brimmed, thus providing a little more sun protection. If you’re new to hats, sticking with a white or tan straw material for summer is a great starting point, especially because these colors are neutral and will go with practically anything! Carson will be covering everything HATS next week on the blog, so be sure to stay tuned for all of our tips and tricks on how to style them and find the best hat for you.

Lace is another trend I’m loving right now, and the peekaboo lace on this Free People Top is feminine yet fun and flirty.

I styled this outfit with distressed jeans when it was a bit cooler, but as temperatures warm up, the off the shoulder tops look equally chic paired with fun printed or cut off denim shorts and flat sandals.

It’s no secret I love tassels and baubles and poms (oh my!), so I paired this clean denim and white look with red and orange ball-drop earrings and embroidered red, orange, white, and blue crossbody bag with tassels!

No Summer outfit is complete without a pair of cool sunnies – and these Quay aviators are such a reasonable price point.
